About ABC Childcare Services
We have been providing high-quality childcare across Cheshire since 2005. What began as a passion for creating Amazing Beginnings for Children has grown into a trusted family of nurseries, supporting children and families across Crewe, Audlem and Congleton.
Our Story
Our story began with our founder and Director, Lynsey Taylor, whose journey into childcare started after gaining a degree in psychology (which covered child development), and from becoming a mother herself. Through her own experiences, she recognised the importance of providing children with a safe, nurturing and inspiring environment where they could flourish, develop confidence and build a lifelong love of learning. Combining her passion for children with a vision of delivering exceptional early years care and education, she set out to create a childcare service that families could trust completely. Starting as a childminder, ABC quickly earned a reputation for providing warm, nurturing childcare where children were known, valued and supported as individuals. As demand grew, we expanded, opening 2 additional Nurseries in Crewe and Audlem. Most recently, in May 2026, we proudly opened our newest nursery in Congleton, bringing quality childcare to even more families across Cheshire. While our settings have grown and evolved over the years, our ethos has remained unchanged. We are committed to providing warm, nurturing environments where children feel safe, valued and inspired to learn. We believe every child deserves the very best start in life, and we work closely with parents and carers to ensure each child’s individual needs, interests and potential are recognised and supported.
Expert Leadership
What truly sets ABC apart is the strength and expertise of our leadership team. Our directors and senior leaders bring together a wealth of knowledge and experience, including Qualified Teachers, Early Years Professional Status and Master’s level qualifications in Early Childhood Studies and Education and Positive Psychology and wellbeing for adults and children. This expertise helps shape our practice, ensuring that children benefit from the very best early years experiences.
Our team
We believe that outstanding childcare begins with an outstanding team. Professional development is actively encouraged across all of our settings, with continuous professional development (CPD) embedded into our culture. We invest in training, mentoring and coaching, supporting our teams to develop their skills, pursue qualifications and progress in their careers. We are passionate about recognising and developing talent from within our organisation. Many members of our leadership and management teams have progressed through internal promotion, reflecting our commitment to supporting career growth and creating opportunities for our staff. This investment in our team has helped us build a dedicated and experienced workforce, with many team members choosing to remain with us for years and becoming a valued part of the ABC family. As a multi site provider, we are able to share expertise, resources and best practice across all of our nurseries. Our teams work collaboratively, learning from one another and ensuring consistency in the high standards of care and education we provide. This approach allows us to continuously reflect, improve and innovate while maintaining the personal, family centred values which ABC has and will always value.
